Gallegos Update

Posted one-by-one the past few weeks, the 3 large paintings added by Gallegos recently now seem worthy of a front-page update. Two were added to the Works of Fantasy section, and one to Dungeons & Dragons. Included in the update are two sketches for same.

Gallegos has made available online 2 editions of his "Balance" image. They can be found at his site.

Magic: the Gathering Update

Magic 2010 has just released, and Cavotta, Nelson and Gallegos have all updated their sites appropriately, including original art for Nelson's Forest, Cavotta's Mold Adder, and artist proofs from all 3. Additionally, Gallegos has added his From the Vault: Exiled original Balance painting, and Cavotta threw in a World of Warcraft illustration, as well. Whew!

With Blizzard recently easing restrictions on how World of Warcraft TCG prints can be marketed, we're pleased to offer up a selection which now includes 12 such prints by Jim Nelson, and a handful by Matt Cavotta and Randy Gallegos. These are all officially licensed product.

With Blizzard now allowing web-sales of World of Warcraft prints, Gallegos has now added three of his own, along with some new WoW white-backed artist proof cards, and a couple of new paintings, to boot.

Gallegos' website has been revamped, with new art added, including a section devoted to original sketches, done as preliminary studies for his finished paintings.

Gallegos has added a couple of new paintings to his gallery, and added whiteback artist proof cards for the newest Magic set, Shards of Alara.

Gallegos' now-becoming monthly update features Shards of Alara Magic art, D&D, and more. As well, through the end of the year, all Gallegos art and products feature free shipping.

Gallegos' first 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons work can be found in the Forgotten Realms Players Guide, and a few pieces from that, Dragon Magazine, and another unpublished piece besides can be found at his slightly reorganized site.

Can you tell we've been receiving stacks of artist proof cards lately? Gallegos has updated his Magic cards with Shadowmoor and Eventide sets (Token cards are not produced as artist proofs, so aren't included), as well as an updated list of World of Warcraft white-backs, too.

Gallegos has updated his site by adding the option for any white-backed artist proof card to come with a unique original drawing on the back, whether for Magic or World of Warcraft. Full details and samples can be found by going there...so go!

Gallegos Shadowmoor...and more

Updates continue, this time a Gallegos update includes some Shadowmoor and World of Warcraft paintings, as well as a new print. We'll see if we can't squeeze out a really big update over the next few days....

Morningtide and Bigger Stuff

Gallegos has updated his site with Morningtide, Dragon Magazine, and other art (a couple not even advertised, for the adventurous). As well, he's completely reorganized his Magic: the Gathering Artist Proofs to ease finding the ones you want, and other stuff.

Cavotta is piping in again with a sorta unadvertised update--images on his site are starting to be replaced with versions up to 75% bigger. They'll be slipped in here and there until we've update the rest of his site.

As I'm sure you've noticed, we've cleaned up this updates page and turned it into the homepage. Remember you can subscribe to this page on most modern browsers, portal homepages like My Yahoo, and RSS aggregators. The link is to the right, and it will let you know when significant updates occur. Give it a whirl!

Now then, Terese Nielsen has updated her white-backed Magic artist proof list with more 9th Edition, Dissension, Time Spiral and Planar Chaos and Future Sight cards.

Warcraft, 10th edition update

Gallegos updates his site with a few new paintings. As well, we're premiering a new method of viewing enlarged images. We're excited to be able to implement it, and hope to make it wider spread. For an example, check this out! Also, his print selection has been updated--a couple of open edition prints (like Shock) have been retired for awhile, and some new ones added.

Not Dead, Really

It's been a slower-than-usual summer here at DDG. The site can only be updated when there are updates from artists, and these have been few and far between really most of the year. It helps that traffic falls off during the summer, but perhaps you'd like to know that things are still going and updates are underway. Notably, we've just uploaded half of a Tucker update, increasing his site template to the new 1024x768 theme. Some new paintings will join that soon. Cavotta has shipped me files to construct a complete redesign of his website, which will also catch you up on his art goodness since his last update. There are some more Post prints to...post, and lastly, some new products have released featuring Gallegos art as well that we're eager to get up for you. So, enjoy what's here and stay tuned for more!

A small update

Convention season is always slow, and it continues this year. Sometimes small changes are made to the site but aren't mentioned. By way of brushing aside cobwebs, allow me to mention this small update here:

Terese Nielsen has updated her painting inventory, marking a few pieces as sold and updating us as to the status of a couple of classic Magic images that are actually available: Ethereal Champion and Raging Cougar. Better quality images of both have been added as well.

Randy Gallegos' sketchbook is now shipping in the signed edition (pre-orders are on their way this week), and he's made available for sale "Flight of the Bats," which is his only comics painting to date.

Gallegos, bigger

Most of the main DDG hub (minus this page, ironically) and now Gallegos' site have been reformatted to 1024x768. As with RK Post's recent upgrade, most of the Gallegos site has had new larger and clearer scans uploaded for almost everything.
